Osteology Research Poster Presentation

Objectives

The Osteology Foundation and the chairmen of the first Osteology USA invite investigators within the field of regenerative dentistry and oral tissue engineering to submit abstracts of original research for consideration in the Osteology Research Poster Presentation session taking place in Phoenix, 09 February 2018.

Abstract Submission and Guidelines

  • Abstracts for the Osteology Research Poster Presentation must be submitted online at https://box.osteology.org/User/MyResearch
  • Abstracts for the Osteology Research Poster Presentation can only be submitted with data that are unpublished at the time of submission.
  • Abstracts that are not invited for an oral presentation during the Osteology Research Poster Presentation are invited to present their posters at the Osteology Poster Exhibition.

The online submission platform will open on 1 August 2017.

Abstract Evaluation

Each abstract submitted for consideration in the Osteology Research Poster Presentation session will be evaluated by Dr. David Kim (Harvard School of Dental Medicine), Dr. Diego Velasquez (University of Florida) and Dr. Gustavo Avila-Ortiz (University of Iowa). All accepted poster abstracts will be published on THE BOX and posters shall be presented by the principal investigator within the poster exhibition space at the congress venue.

Osteology Research Poster Presentation

The poster exhibition will be open on Friday and Saturday during the entire symposium. To promote the scientific exchange, all poster authors are asked to be available during coffee and lunch breaks.

The authors of the six best abstracts submitted for consideration in the Osteology Research Poster Presentation session will be invited by 15 December 2017 to give an oral presentation of their poster content on Friday, 09 February 2018. The presentation format will include 8 min of presentation and 4 min of Q&A. Moreover, the investigators orally presenting during the Osteology Research Poster Presentation session will obtain full reimbursement of the registration fee.  

Osteology Research Prize

The best oral presentation of both clinical and basic research will be awarded an Osteology Foundation Research Prize on Saturday, 10 February 2018.
